Bashir Hajiyev: ‘All monuments in Aghdam will be restored or preserved’

Aghdam is the destroyed center of Azerbaijan's cultural heritage, said Bashir Hajiyev, the deputy special representative of the President in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region (except Shusha region), at the 2nd Azerbaijan International "Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh" - "Rebuild Karabakh" Exhibition and the 27th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition, Report informs.

"It is planned to restore or preserve all historical and cultural monuments in the district," he said.

"Aghdam will host many open-air historical and cultural museums. The government's promising plans to restore the winemaking tradition in the region will create new opportunities in ecotourism," he added.
