Azerbaijan to build new railway line to Heydar Aliyev International Airport

There are plans to build a new railway line to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Report informs referring to the Master Plan for the Development of the City of Baku until 2040.

According to the document, the goal is to develop the railway network, as well as expand the possibilities of entry and exit to the airport, providing citizens with access to high-capacity public transport.

In addition, it is planned to increase the share of railway transport in the transportation of passengers and personnel to and from the airport to 30%.
