The full implementation of Azerbaijan's water supply infrastructure improvement and expansion project will begin on February 15, Etibar Mammadov, advisor to the chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ASWRA), stated during the presentation of the Water Network Connection working group in Baku, Report informs.
Mammadov highlighted that cooperation with various government agencies has been expanded within the project framework, and relevant institutions have actively joined the process: "Despite some challenges, significant progress has been achieved, and the project implementation will continue at full capacity."
He also mentioned that the ASWRA plans to hold a presentation regarding water network connection rules within the project's implementation. "Participants will be able to ask questions about the process during the presentation, and the topic will be widely discussed. We want to emphasize the importance of approaching the project not just as observers, but as full partners," he said.
Additionally, Mammadov stressed the importance of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee accelerating processes. "Relevant documents have been submitted to this institution since January 16. According to new rules, consumer demands must be responded to within one month, and technical conditions must be met to avoid bureaucratic obstacles in connecting to the water supply network," he noted.
