Azerbaijan sees surge in cargo, passenger transportation by air

Overall, 94,500 tons of cargo and 782,100 passengers were transported by air in Azerbaijan during the first three months of this year, Report informs with reference to the State Statistical Committee.

This is an increase of 13 percent and 45.1 percent, respectively, compared to the same period in 2023.

State-owned vehicles were responsible for 99.9 percent of air passenger transport, while private vehicles accounted for a mere 0.1 percent.
