Azerbaijan's seaborne cargo exports more than double in volume

From January to July this year, Azerbaijan transported 1,370,826.23 tons of cargo by sea, valued at $1,326,456,670, according to the State Customs Committee, Report informs.
Compared to the same period in 2024, this marks a 3.7% decrease in value and an 18.5% decline in volume.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 111,974.53 tons of cargo by sea, worth $64,010,360 — a 5.1% drop in value but a 2.4-fold increase in volume year-on-year.
Imports by sea amounted to 1,258,851.71 tons, down 23.1%, with a total value of $1,262,446,310, representing a 3.6% decrease compared to the previous year.
