Azerbaijan-based cargo airline Silk Way West plans to launch weekly scheduled service on Mondays to Dallas Fort Worth Airport (DFW) using a 747-8F.
Report informs that the new service is an expansion of Silk Way West’s three-times-per-week service between its Baku (GYD) hub and Chicago (ORD).
Silk Way West makes direct flights from Azerbaijan to the United States. The company also has offices in Houston, Chicago, New York, Miami, and Washington for sale purposes.
Since its creation in 2012, the air cargo company has been steadily expanding its route network. Boeing B747 makes flights from Baku to Hong Kong, Osaka, Seoul, Dhaka, Shanghai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Chicago, Milan, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Istanbul, Dubai, and other major transport hubs.
The carrier’s general sales agent (GSA) for the U.S., Global Feeder Services, was appointed in August 2019.
