Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran are preparing an intergovernmental agreement on the construction of the last section needed to complete the overland railway route of the North-South corridor, said Sergey Pavlov, first deputy director general of Russian Railways, Report informs referring to Russian media.
“The ministries of transport are preparing two intergovernmental agreements: Iran-Russia and trilateral Azerbaijan-Russia-Iran,” Pavlov said March 17 on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum of the CIS countries.
The document is planned to be signed in 2023.
