Azerbaijan Railways sees significant growth in passenger traffic

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) transported a total of 4,648,444 passengers on domestic routes, including the Absheron circular railway line, Report informs, citing ADY.

This represents an increase of 798,103 passengers, or a 20.7% hike, compared to the same period in 2024.

In June alone, ADY carried 766,718 passengers on domestic routes. This marked a 32% increase, or 185,742 more passengers, compared to June of the previous year.
