Azerbaijan Railways increases transit freight transport by 9%

Since the beginning of 2024, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has transported 3.5 million tons of transit freight, the company’s chairman Rovshan Rustamov told Report.

According to him, this is 0.3 million tons or 9.3% more than the same period last year.

“We transported about 7 million tons of transit freight last year, the forecast for this year is 8 million tons,” the chairman noted.
