Azerbaijan Railways CJSC doubles passenger transportation

In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC carried 2.128 million passengers, which is 1.9 times more than last year, Report informs, citing the Company.

2,109,000 people were transported by suburban train (Baku-Sumgait high-speed electric train), and 19,000 people were transported domestically (currently, only Baku-Ganja high-speed electric train is available). These indicators are twice as high and 74.9% less, respectively, than a year ago.
