Azerbaijan represented in event of OSCE's Silk Road Support Group

Azerbaijan is participating in the 4th International Parliamentary Conference of the Silk Road Support Group of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Istanbul.
According to Report's Turkish bureau, Azerbaijani MPs Azay Guliyev, Tural Ganjaliyev, CEO of Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC Taleh Ziyadov and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkiye Rashad Mammadov represent Azerbaijan at the event.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Guliyev said that Azerbaijan aims to export 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe per year. He stressed that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the European Union and Azerbaijan on July 18 this year, the opening of the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector are of great importance in terms of ensuring the energy security of Southeast Europe, and also highlighted Azerbaijan's great contribution to the development of international transport corridors West -East and North-South.
The 4th International Parliamentary Conference is organized by the Turkish Grand National Assembly and is held on the topic "Strengthening Coordination for Ensuring Energy and Food Security in Times of Crisis". The event will focus on supply chain resilience and food security in times of crisis, energy security for sustainable environment and development.
The Istanbul Declaration is expected to be adopted by results of the conference. A business forum will also take place as part of the event.
