Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kenya Sultan Hajiyev has discussed bilateral cooperation in the use of digital platforms with the country's Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy William Kabogo Gitau, Report informs referring to the press service of the ministry on X.
William Kabogo Gitau has met with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Kenya Sultan Hajiyev, who paid him a courtesy visit.
It is emphasized that the parties discussed exploring the possibilities of cooperation in the use of digital platforms to improve intergovernmental work processes between Baku and Nairobi.
They also exchanged views on effective ways to reduce analog processes in Kenya, speed up the decision-making process and, as a result, improve the delivery of public services.
This is in line with the Kenyan Government's Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which focuses on digitalisation and automation of key government functions, with the aim of ensuring that 80 percent of government services are available online.
