Azerbaijan, European Commission mull partnership with EU within COP29

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Gert Jan Koopman, Director General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission, have discussed partnership with the EU within COP29, according to Report.

The minister said on X that as part of the meeting with Koopman, they discussed cooperation in a number of directions.

He noted that they considered the implementation of the economic and investment plan in Azerbaijan within the EU's Eastern Partnership priorities for 2021-2025, collaboration with the European Union within COP29 and common directions for cooperation with the EU.
