"Work on the reconstructed Ujar-Zardab-Agjabadi highway and the Yevlakh-Khaldan section of the Yevlakh-Zagatala-Georgia state border is close to an end," Anar Najafli, spokesman for the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, told Report.
"Besides, the work on the Bahramtapa-Bilasuvar highway is almost completed. This road is vital in terms of economic relations, the development of agriculture, and reducing transport costs between the country's regions, including Imishli and Bilasuvar. Besides, as a highway connecting the East-West and North-South transport corridors, this road also plays an important role in increasing the efficiency of transit services," he added.
