For the first time in Azerbaijan, during the construction of the bridge viaducts built over the valley on the Ahmadbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway, concreting works are carried out by the slip formwork technique, Report informs, citing the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads.
In international practice, it is considered more appropriate to use this method in tall viaducts built over river crossings.
Slip formwork concreting is used in the construction of a 380-meter viaduct at km 79.7 of the Ahmedbeyli-Fuzuli-Shusha highway.
