Asphalt concrete pavement laid on Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway section

On the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the construction of the Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway, one of the road infrastructure projects being implemented in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions, continues at an accelerated pace, Report informs.

The length of the road, which originates from the section of the highway Hajigabul-Horadiz-Agband-Zangazur corridor, passing through the village of Shukurbayli, Jabrayil district, to the village of Hadrut, Khojavend district, is 39.7 km.

The four-lane highway was built in accordance with the I technical level. The roadway is 14 meters. The work on laying asphalt concrete pavement has been completed on a 20-kilometer section.

Construction work is carried out under the direct control of the leadership of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads. The construction of the road is planned to be completed in 2023.

The road passes through the territory of the Khojavend, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts liberated from occupation, covers about 20 settlements of these districts, including the settlement of Hadrut and the city of Jabrayil.
