Ali Asadov: Azerbaijan makes active efforts to reduce Caspian Sea's negative effects on environment

Azerbaijan shares the concern of the Caspian littoral states regarding environmental problems and makes active efforts to minimize the negative effects of the Caspian Sea on the environment, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the 2nd Caspian Economic Forum held in Moscow, Russia, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
He noted that the 6th Conference of the Parties to the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea is planned to be held in Baku in October.
The PM said that Azerbaijan is ready to make all efforts for the development of multilateral cooperation for the welfare of the peoples of the Caspian littoral states.
