Airport of Samarkand to be closed for four days

The international airport of Samarkand will not accept airplanes on November 8-11 for technical reasons.
Report informs referring to Uzbekistan media that on November 11, the city will host the summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). In anticipation of the summit, the ministers of economy and foreign affairs of the organization member states will hold sessions.
The international airport will not accept airplanes on the days of the summit.
The member states of the organization include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye and Uzbekistan. Hungary and Turkmenistan are observer countries of the organization.
