Azerbaijani freight forwarders face difficulties mainly in European Union countries, the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan International Road Transport Association (ABADA) Public Union, Kanan Gurbanov, said in a statement to journalists, Report informs.
Gurbanov noted that the main reason for this is the tightening of rules, requirements and norms in Europe: "The biggest problems are related to the technical condition of the vehicles. For example, the lights are not working properly, the tires on the rear or other technical details do not comply with the norm. For example, if they detain a vehicle or issue a fine, they do so based on the laws and regulations."
