Mikayil Jabbarov: Aghdam Industrial Park ranks second in Azerbaijan by number of residents

The Aghdam Industrial Park, managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy, now ranks second in Azerbaijan in terms of the number of registered resident companies, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said during a visit by members of the Coordination Headquarters, as they reviewed the conditions created for entrepreneurs within the industrial park, according to Report.

"As of now, 31 enterprises are registered in the park — 27 as residents and 4 as non-residents," said Jabbarov. "Among them are Mister Decor, a wallpaper manufacturer; Rail Trans Service, which produces communication and signaling equipment along with microprocessor centralization systems; Eel Electric, a maker of medium- and low-voltage equipment, monoblock concrete substations, and EV charging stations; and BAFCO Invest, which specializes in protective and polyurethane footwear," the minister said.

The Aghdam Industrial Park was established by presidential decree on May 28, 2021, and covers an area of 190 hectares.
