Industrial park may be created in Ganja

The Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy is exploring the possibility of creating an industrial park around the city of Ganja, Elshad Nuriyev, the Chairman of the Board of the Agency, said in an interview with Report.

"In other parts of the country, the issue of creating industrial parks is regularly considered. But creating industrial parks is not an easy task. We face difficulties in creating industrial parks, especially in the liberated territories. Factors, such as hiring a normal labor force, having an established infrastructure, and having a nearby residential area for a company that builds industrial enterprises are important factors.," he said.

According to him, industrial parks can be created around other big cities besides Ganja: "However, this should be the product of a comprehensive analysis. Correct assessment of social aspects and the demand of industrial enterprises should be explored. I think this is possible."
