Dagestani Minister visits Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park

A delegation led by the Minister of Economy and Territorial Development of the Republic of Dagestan of Russia, Haji Sultanov, visited Azerbaijan’s Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, Report informs, citing the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The Deputy Chairman of the Board of the EZDA, Agil Azizov, informed the delegation about the general activities of the industrial zones under the EZDA management, the work done, and the projects being implemented.

Dagestani businessmen were invited to take advantage of the favorable investment opportunities created in the industrial zones.

As a continuation of the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the Azerbaijan-Russia Joint Industrial Zone being constructed on 10 hectares of the Park's territory, and the activities of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park's residents' steel pipe and polymer materials processing enterprises.
