Azerbaijan to produce chargers for electric cars for first time

Some 85% of the work at the production plant of electrical distribution equipment and electrical sockets of Eel Electric LLC, a resident of the Aghdam Industrial Park, has already been completed, Report informs, citing the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy.

Equipment has been brought from Türkiye and European countries, and their installation will start.

The plant will produce 35-10 kV internal and external distribution devices, 0.4 kV power and control panels, condenser devices, and transformer stations of various capacities.

The company also plans to manufacture chargers for electric cars for the first time in Azerbaijan.

As many as 70 people will be provided with permanent jobs at the enterprise built on the territory of 1.7 hectares of the Aghdam Industrial Park. The manufactured products are planned to be widely used in the construction and installation works carried out in Karabakh.
