Azerbaijan’s gypsum, anhydrite output more than doubled in January

In January 2025, Azerbaijan produced 51,100 tons of gypsum and anhydrite, marking a 2.3-fold increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
As of February 1, 2025, Azerbaijan had 52,600 tons of final product reserves.
Overall, 570,500 tons of gypsum and anhydrite were produced in Azerbaijan in 2024, which is 4.8% less than in 2023.
