Azerbaijan reveals share of industrial zones in non-oil-gas production, exports

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan’s industrial zones produced goods worth 1.83 billion manats ($1.076 billion), accounting for 18.7% of the country’s non-oil and gas industrial output and 28.3% of non-oil industrial exports—equivalent to 583.5 million manats ($343.2 million), Report informs, citing the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) under the country's Ministry of Economy.

According to EZDA, the share of industrial zones in non-oil industrial production and exports continues to grow, reflecting the success of Azerbaijan’s recent industrialization policies.

Currently, Azerbaijan hosts 13 industrial zones, where 160 business entities have been registered as residents, with a combined investment portfolio exceeding 8 billion manats (just over $4.7 billion). Additionally, 12 entrepreneurs have been registered as non-residents.
