World Taekwondo Championships to be held in Baku

The World Taekwondo Championships will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time, Report informs.
The decision was made at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the World Taekwondo federation (WT).
Baku will host the prestigious competition in 2023.
The exact date of the championship will be confirmed soon.
The World Championships in the Azerbaijani capital will be of particular importance as it will coincide with the 50th anniversary of WT.
