World champion in kickboxing shot dead in Germany

Baku. 23 November. REPORT.AZ/ Tatar athlete, multiple world champion in kickboxing, Musa Musalayev was killed in German town of Neu-Ulm.

According to the German media, the 37-year-old Musa Musalayev was shot on Friday last week by gunman wearing a mask. He fled the scene by car.

The police are investigating witness testimonies, whether the incident related to the murder committed 7 months ago. At that time, another world champion in kickboxing was shot in Federal Land of Baden-Württemberg.

Notably, "Prince" nicknamed Musa Musalayev won titles of world champion in kickboxing competitions at different categories. He moved to Germany in 2013 after ending his career.
