President of Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation congratulates Olympic bronze medalist

Minister of Economy, President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Mikayil Jabbarov has congratulated Hasrat Jafarov, who won the first medal of Azerbaijan in Greco-Roman wrestling at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games held in Paris, Report informs.

"We secured our first wrestling medal at the Olympic Games today. Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) clinched the bronze medal at Paris 2024. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Hasrat, his parents and coaches. We look forward to more successes from our wrestling team," Jabbarov wrote on X.

On August 8, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, defeating Amantur Ismailov from Kyrgyzstan.
