NOC Sec.-Gen. observes early presidential elections in Uzbekistan

Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, Azer Aliyev, observed the early presidential elections in Uzbekistan, Report informs referring to the NOC.

In connection with the early presidential elections held in Uzbekistan, representatives of a number of sports structures visited the polling stations in Tashkent as observers.

Azer Aliyev also visited the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of Uzbekistan.

At meetings with Minister Adkham Ikramov, Secretary General of the NOC of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Azizjon Kamilov, an exchange of views took place on further strengthening friendly ties, and new projects in the field of sports were discussed.

Foreign experts who observed the extraordinary presidential elections in Uzbekistan noted the high level of organization of the elections. They expressed interest in further strengthening ties with Uzbekistan.
