Windsor Castle in London will host the opening of the Royal Windsor Horse Show in honor of the members of the royal family on May 12, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation.
Azerbaijan’s representatives will also perform at the show, where Queen Elizabeth II will be present.
At the event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne, the Azerbaijani delegation will present a special program “Land of Fire.”
In a program organized by the Federation with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and involving 70 people, fifteen cavalrymen of the State Border Guard Service will demonstrate their skills in trick riding on Karabakh horses. Riders will demonstrate their horse-riding skills to the sounds of national music performed by the Serhedchi Ensemble under the guidance of Honored Artist, choreographer Farid Ibrahimov.
The show, which will be organized on May 12-15, will feature four performances by representatives of Azerbaijan. Representatives from Oman, Bahrain, Switzerland, France, Norway and India are also expected to participate in the artistic part of the event.
Representatives of Azerbaijan have been participating in the horse show in Windsor since 2012.
