Italy to host Winter Youth Olympic Games

The 2028 Winter Youth Olympic Games will be held in Italy.
According to Report, the relevant decision was made at an extraordinary session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The competition will take place in the Valtellina Dolomites region in the north of the country. Italy's application was approved by the IOC executive committee in December.
The Winter Youth Olympic Games are held every four years. In 2024, South Korea hosted the competition.
In particular, the next Winter Olympic Games will be held in 2026.
