French cyclist Noa Sartis suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during competition and tragically died, Report informs, via RMC Sport.
The 16‑year‑old, competing in an under‑17 race in Courseulles-sur-Mer in the northwest region of France, suffered a heart attack and collapsed on Sunday.
Medical teams who arrived immediately attempted resuscitation, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Following the tragedy, organizers canceled the adult race scheduled for the same day.
