Baku. 17 March. REPORT.AZ/ Young Azerbaijani wrestler Turhan Gurbanov suspended from all competitions for 4 years.
Report informs, United World Wrestling has decided.
The reason was that the 20-year-old wrestler refused doping test in European Championship in June 2015 among young people, where T.Gurbanov took 5th place in the weight category of 96 kg.
In a statement to Report the Head of the Sector fighting against doping of Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, officer of the World Anti-Doping Agency Irada Rustamzadeh confirmed information. According to her, negotiations underway to ease penalties.
