Azerbaijani powerlifter earns Paralympic berth

Azerbaijani powerlifter Jeyhun Mahmudov secured a spot at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, Report informs via AZERTAC.
He obtained the right ("bipartite") to participate in the prestigious competition based on a request sent by the National Paralympic Committee to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Jeyhun Mahmudov will prove his mettle in the 54kg competitions.
The Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games will take place between August 28 and September 8, featuring more than 4,000 athletes competing in 549 medal events.
