Azerbaijani karatekas secure three medals in Grand Prix

Three representatives of the women's youth (U-21) and adult karate teams of Azerbaijan claimed bronze medals at the 42nd Grand Prix in Bratislava (Slovakia).

Report informs that Khumar Alibayova (50 kg) won a bronze medal in the women's competition among athletes under 21, and Ilaha Gasimova (55 kg) secured bronze in the championship among adults.

Silver medalist of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo Iryna Zaretska (68 kg) missed the bout for bronze.

Azerbaijan has been represented by ten athletes.
