Azerbaijani cyclist comes 4th in Islamic Solidarity Games

The first medalists of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, which started today in Konya, Turkiye, have been announced.
According to Report, it started with a scratch race among women.
Rinata Sultanova from Kazakhstan won a gold medal, Nur Asya Muhammad Zubir from Malaysia won a silver medal, and Sofia Karimova from Uzbekistan won a bronze medal in the 10 km final race. Among the representatives of Azerbaijan, Ayan Khankishiyeva was 4th place, and Victoria Sidorenko was 13th.
4,200 athletes from 56 countries will compete in the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games. The opening ceremony will be held on August 9. A total of 281 athletes will represent Azerbaijan in the competition, which will last until August 18.
