Azerbaijani boxer triumphs over Armenian opponent at 2025 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships

At the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships in Niš, 2025, the Azerbaijani representative secured a victory against an Armenian athlete, Report informs.

Competing in the 54 kg weight category, Zeynab Rahimova defeated Yekaterina Sycheva in the 1/16 finals.

Rahimova emerged victorious with a score of 5:2, as decided by the judges.

Additionally, Aynur Mikayilova (57 kg) is set to join the competition today.
