Azerbaijan to be represented at Winter Paralympic Games for first time

Azerbaijan will be represented at the Winter Paralympic Games for the first time, the National Paralympic Committee told Report.

Mehman Ramazanzade, a member of the national winter sports team, will take part in the prestigious competitions in Beijing.

He will compete in the cross-country sprint event on March 9.

XIII Paralympic Winter Games will be held on March 4-13. The opening ceremony will take place on March 4 at the Beijing National Stadium.
