The official prize of Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix - the Cup - reflects the elements of the minarets of the Upper Govkhar Agha Mosque, one of the oldest monuments in the city of Shusha.
Report informs that the patterns on it resemble the brick surface of the minarets, which are divided into three parts by convex ribbons and decorated with colored stones.
National patterns and elements are present on four goblets made of pure silver. The official awarding of the Grand Prix is also timed to coincide with the 270th anniversary of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. The cup will be awarded to the winners today after the final competition.
