Azad Rahimov: Change in Formula 1 management will not affect Azerbaijan

Baku. 2 February. REPORT.AZ/ Change in management of "Formula-1" will not have any effect on Azerbaijani Grand Prix.

Report informs, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov said.

He noted that, replacement of Bernie Ecclestone with Chase Carey does not make any difference to Azerbaijan. " We will work with the new leadership in the same order. We have very good relations with them.

Rahimov said, B. Ecclestone played an important role in achievement of Formula 1, to the current level.However, he sold majority of shares to another company.He kept only 5 percent. Current shareholders preferred not to cooperate with him."

Notably, this year, the Grand Prix will be held on June 23-25.
