2 Azerbaijani gymnasts reach World Cup finals in Baku

Azerbaijani gymnasts Ivan Tikhonov and Nikita Simonov have reached the finals of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup in Baku, Report informs.

Tikhonov took 8th place in the qualifications, scoring 13.933 points in exercises on parallel bars. Simonov received 14.266 points from the judges for the exercises on the rings and took 6th place.

Both athletes reached the finals after finishing the qualifying round in the top eight.

In the women's event, Samira Gahramanova ranked 17th with 12.166 points in the vaults, and Milana Minakovskaya came in 23rd with 10.366 points in uneven bars.
