Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s office representative attends UN Commission meeting in Vienna

The 68th session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) was held in Vienna, Austria, from March 10 to 14, 2025, Report informs, citing Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan was represented by Aynur Afandiyeva, a prosecutor from the International Legal Cooperation Department.

During the sessions, participants discussed key topics such as the implementation of international drug control treaties, commitments to drug policy, inter-agency cooperation, and coordination of global efforts to address the drug issue. The commission also reviewed recommendations from its subsidiary bodies and adopted six new resolutions.
