Plane en route Istanbul-Samarkand makes emergency landing in Baku

The captain of the Uzbekistan Airways aircraft, operating the Istanbul-Samarkand flight, requested an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The Heydar Aliyev International Airport told Report that the reason for this was a sudden deterioration in the health of one of the passengers.
All airport services were brought to a state of full readiness to respond promptly to the situation.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at Baku Airport at 18:45 local time. The passenger was immediately given first aid.
After his health improved and with his consent, the passenger continued the journey to his destination.
The aircraft departed from Baku to Samarkand at 21:07 local time.
