Nearly 1,700 mines found in liberated areas last month

The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) issued a monthly report about operations carried out by organizations involved in demining activities in the liberated territories, Report informs.
During October, 928 anti-tank mines, 767 anti-personnel mines, and 8,537 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were detected and neutralized in the liberated areas. Also, 6,687.4 hectares of land were cleared of mines.
