Head of Service: Destructive attempts of disruptive forces, terrorist groups in Afghanistan must be prevented

The destructive attempts of disruptive forces and terrorist groups interested in keeping the situation tense in Afghanistan must be prevented, the Head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev, said at the international conference on "Afghanistan: regional contacts, security and development" held in Baku, Report informs.

Naghiyev noted that the main purpose of holding the event is to put forward a unified position on the issue related to Afghanistan.

"It is important for Afghanistan to take its place in the system of international relations and to ensure peace in this country. For all these, the countries of the region and other states will show coordinated activity and joint effort," the official stated.
