Forest fire breaks out in Aghdara district

A wildfire has erupted in the village of Ortakand, located in Aghdara district.

According to the Karabakh bureau of Report, the fire initially consumed an area of dry grass and shrubs.

Strong winds have caused the flames to spread to a forested region in the mountainous area.

Firefighting teams from the Terter and Naftalan districts have been deployed to combat the blaze, supported by a helicopter from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as efforts to contain the fire are underway.
