Farid Ahmadov met with Chairman of the Federal Supreme Court of Iraq

Azerbaijan's Minister of Justice, Farid Ahmadov, met with a delegation led by Mundhir Ibrahim Hussein, Chairman of the Federal Supreme Court of the Republic of Iraq, who is visiting Azerbaijan, Report informs.

During the meeting, the sides noted that Azerbaijan and Iraq have always demonstrated solidarity in various international institutions, and mutual visits and meetings contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation.

Farid Ahmadov emphasized that both nations are connected by similar history, common religion, and other spiritual ties, stating that this visit will give additional impetus to the development of relations between the two countries, especially legal cooperation.

The minister noted that there are ample opportunities for developing legal relations between our countries.

Mundhir Ibrahim Hussein expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, noting that mutual visits stimulate the expansion of cooperation between countries in the judicial and justice fields, highlighting the progress made in the legal sphere, as well as the importance of such visits in learning from each other's experiences.

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
