Eight people hit by mine in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar, one killed 

Eight people, including four soldiers, were hit by landmines in the Kalbajar district, Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministries of Defense and Internal Affairs said in a statement, Report informs.

One of them was martyred.

According to the preliminary investigations, four employees of a construction company were hit by an anti-personnel mine in the Chirag village of the Kalbajar district.

At the same time, the investigation revealed that four soldiers who went to the scene for the evacuation were hit by a mine, 3 of them received various degrees of injuries, and one was killed.

The Kalbajar Military Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the fact.

Four people working on the infrastructure projects were injured by a mine explosion in the Kalbajar district of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Interior Ministry.

"Police officers and officials of the relevant bodies have been involved in the scene," the ministry said.
