Baku to host int'l conference in honor of 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan Constitution

An international conference on "Modern Trends in Ensuring the Supremacy of the Constitution through Constitutional Justice" will be held in Baku on July 16, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev wrote in his article, Report informs.

He noted that delegations of constitutional justice bodies from Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Georgia, Iraq, Moldova, Serbia, Tajikistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are expected to participate in the conference.

The conference will feature updates on current issues of constitutional justice, as well as a broad discussion of the role of constitutional justice bodies in building a state governed by the rule of law and implementing constitutional principles.

The conference participants will also consider the challenges facing constitutional justice in the modern era and new approaches applied at the national and international levels.
