Baku mayor’s office said clearing aftermath of heavy showers in Baku

"Brief heavy showers hit some areas of Baku this morning. Due to this, some streets and avenues were flooded and puddles have appeared. The aftermath of the shower is being eliminated by Azersu water company and the city's utilities," Report learned from the Baku mayor’s office.

It was noted that as the city's sewerage network is run by Azersu water company, its specialists are involved in this work. "The city's utilities are taking joint coordination, information and other necessary measures to this end. At the same time, it should be noted that similar cases are observed in other countries during intensive rains," the report said.
